| Giving Back To The Community |

St Michael's students have been actively involved in giving back to the local community. A number of Year 13 students have been volunteering their time in Manor Centre a local Southern Health and Social Care Trust day care facility for adults with physical and sensory disabilities. Both the students and service users thoroughly enjoyed this experience. One of the service user’s commented, "the students made us feel like we all had abilities and did not focus on our disabilities". One of the students said, "I thoroughly enjoyed working on our creative project in Manor Centre. It was an extremely rewarding experience". Congratulations to those students involved for their dedication and commitment to the project! |
